A Cold, Rainy Day at California Adventure and Bunco "Favorite Things"

When I saw rain and cold in the forecast for this week, I knew I had to jump on the opportunity to take the kids to Disney. Rainy days are my favorite because the park is less crowded! We had a super awesome time and it wasn't even raining badly enough to get us wet. We came prepared, of course. But we were able to ride a bunch of rides we hadn't gone on in a long time and ended the afternoon with Sprinkles Cupcakes to validate parking (no pun intended). That night, I had my Bunco Favorite Things party which I look forward to all season long! But there was a weird vibe and I left feeling a little deflated. I feel like my friends are pulling away from me and it makes me super sad. It also makes me wonder why???? Jill admitted to Courtney (who's also feeling left behind) that they all went to the temple and dinner recently together. Why they didn't feel inclined to include us? I don't know. But it makes me super, super sad. I know I've been very busy with my own little family and the many activities we've had going on. But it's nice to feel included and invited even when you can't go. You think the drama is along during High School... But I assure you, it is NOT!
Anyhoo, for my "favorite things" this year, I made a bag full of things to create the perfect bath- including tub snacks! Everyone got a big kick out of it and Sara sent a picture to everyone later with her bath stuff all set up, including her "bath gnome" ha ha We were going to ride bikes to dinner before Bunco but we decided against it, due to the rain. But a few of us met at Capriotti's for dinner and it was really nice!
Oh! And that morning at seminary, Parker had a White Elephant party! So. Many. Parties!
3 White Elephant and 2 Favorite Things so far!

There was a beautiful rainbow after the rain while I was waiting for Rayleigh at her piano lesson.

Christmas Crafts! Jack has been drawing for hours and hours each day!
