Jack's 1:1 Date with me to Disneyland

 Jack's 1 on 1 date was nothing short of entertaining.

This kid has so much energy. He is non stop. He's either jumping up and down, making noise, or both. He asks a MILLION questions- most of which do not have any logical answer. He is physical and funny and every square inch of him is a 10 year old boy.

We started at the LEOG store where he quickly found 2 LEGOS that he liked. He's not as big of a LEGO fanatic as Parker is, but he does enjoy them. And he loved shopping for them. Then we went to Starbucks for his favorite chocolate frapaccino and I got the every so popular among the teens, "Pink Drink". It was just ok. 

We went to Disneyland and stood in line for Star Tours. He had to jump out of line at one point to go to the bathroom and that made his bathroom stops around 5 at that point. He has the bladder of a baby. We grabbed burgers at Galactic Grill and he thoroughly ignored me until I made his put his phone away. He said he wanted to make funny videos but he ended up just playing games with his friends... rude!

Then he forced me onto my least favorite ride- Astro Orbitor but he was very protective and only teased that we were going to fall a few times. He kept me on my toes for sure.

He showed me how far he could jump as we were walking back to the car and I really felt the "look what I can do" energy coming from him all evening. 

Yes Jack, you are awesome. You amaze me every day with your gifts and abilities. You light up my life with laughter and wit. You are a joy to have in our family. When you were a baby, you were so easy going. When you were a toddler, you were my most obedient. Now that you are a 10 year old, you challenge me in ways that help YOU become your best self. You are already smarter than I am and I love that you have so many friends and are passionate about soccer.

You might be in your wiggly wild stage, and you might be super loud and annoying sometimes. But you'll always be my special little boy and I will always love you. No matter what!
