Welcome to Coudersport

Wow! What a difference between East and West! Tanner was accepted to Lock Haven University's Physician Assistant program and we were sent to the Coudersport, Pennsylvania campus. It is a tiny little town located over an hour from the freeway, in the center/northern most part of the state, tucked between some of Pennsylvania's "Mountains". We are an hour from church which is in Olean, New York. We have 2 small grocery stores, a dollar store, a Goodwill, a library, one Jr High/High School and 1 Elementary school. There are 2 playgrounds, a McDonald's and a Subway, a few Ma and Pa restaurants, and about 22 churches. There are 2 stop lights and 1 old theater that they converted into a small movie theater where they show movies that are no longer shown in bigger theaters.  There are a lot of very cool looking homes and we really like the East Coast design. You can walk pretty much anywhere you want to go and it seems like everybody knows each other. If you were born and raised here it's easy to see how this would be the perfect "home". It's down to Earth and people seem really nice and for the most part, educated. As far as we're concerned though, we are sticking to the motto: West Coast is the Best Coast!
