Last Day in San Diego

For our last fun filled day in San Diego we each chose where to eat a meal and an activity. I chose acai bowls for breakfast and the temple. Parker chose Islands for lunch and Seaworld to ride the roller coasters. Tanner chose Juanita's for dinner and the beach.

We started the day with a brief walk to the little shopping center by our condo for breakfast at this juice place. The acai bowl did NOT disappoint. So yummy! The boys got smoothies. Then, it was off to the temple. We can see the temple from our condo and drive past it multiple times a day. I knew it would be such a shame if we left without visiting the place where we were sealed together for eternity. We were happy for the opportunity to do some temple work and be there together as a family. I went first while Tanner stayed with the kids and then we switched. The baby was so very sleepy when we were done. Poor thing needed a nap so badly. The temple was amazing and being there was a perfect way to start the day.
After the temple we took the baby back to the condo for a nap and Parker and I ran to Seaworld as fast as we could. We'd saved our fast passes for the time when we would finally be able to ride the roller coasters. We literally ran from ride to ride! We did the Manta, Shipwreck Rapids (felt so good to get soaking wet, we were soooo hot!) and Journey to Atlantis! We had so much fun!
After that we met Tanner at Islands for lunch. Mmmmmm Islands is sooo good! We really love eating there!
From there we went to the beach! Tanner took us to a beach we hadn't been to before. Moonlight beach! The vibe down there was soooo fun! Cool lifeguard headquarters, nice fire pits, a super awesome playground, and tons of people hanging out and having a great time! Parker wasted no time in getting in the water. We stayed until sunset! Sadly we were not hungry at all for dinner so we took a pass on Juanita's. Now we have something to look forward to next time we are down there!
It was a wonderful day. San Diego has been so awesome and I'm bummed we have to leave. Tanner has to stay for about another month but Parker starts school so we have to go home. :-( Hopefully we can go back soon!

The baby was pretty much ready for a nap at this point....
