Harry Potter World at Universal Studios

The day finally came! We finally made it to Universal Studios! We bought tickets to Universal a few years ago and returned them because we never went... so we'd never ever been before. We loved reading all of the Harry Potter books and fell in love with the story and characters. So being in the wizarding world of Harry Potter was amazing!

I was up sooo late the night before with Shelley but I set my alarm and we got up early and headed up to LA. Ella threw up right when we got there but she was fine the rest of the day, thank goodness. We had the best time! It was also cool that the kids had just seen the new Mario Bros movie and then got to see Super Mario World.

We hit some rides which were super fun before getting to Harry Potter world but when we got there, we splurged on butterbeer and spend a lot of time just walking around and enjoying the shops. We rode both of the rides and walking through Hogwarts was my favorite! We ate lunch at the 3 Broomsticks and then explored more of the park.

Parker was super excited about the Studio Tour and it was so rad! I loved seeing the sets and experiencing all of the special effects. We also loved the Water World show and the best part of the day was meeting the actors after the show. Rayleigh was soooo cute with them, chatting away and making connections. She is so rad!!!!

We walked through Super Mario World but it was crowded and kinda lame that we had to buy a wrist band thing to play the games.

So, we rode the other rides that looked fun like Jurassic World and then we left the park to get dinner at Bucca De Beppo. Dinner was awesome. I was so excited for food and we got a huge ice cream sundae for Jack and my birthday. It was so yummy and after our tummies were full, we drove home tired and satisfied. 

Universal Studios was a WIN! Can't wait to go again!
