Our First Week of Spring Break

You know our motto: Work hard, play harder!!
We hit the ground running this week with our first week off of school/work. After our big day at MCO with a full day of rehearsals and 2 performances, we slept in a little bit the next day but then met up with our besties for a little bouncing at Big Air! It was so fun being with Angel and her boys! We love them so much and it's so easy being with them. Angel is my BFF and her boys are so kind and cute. We then went to the VR place at the Spectrum where we went in December for a birthday party. We had a free hour of play and the kids loved it! It was so fun and the guys working there were so cool. We made it home in time for Jack to go to soccer and we all slept well that night.
The next day I had a dentist appointment and they were able to play at my parent's house while I got my teeth cleaned. Then we went to Chuck E Cheese and dominated at skee ball! (Some of the balls were missing from some machines and Rayleigh went and old a worker and then helped him organize it all, She's the best!) After that, we went to the Shops for lunch at Nordies and chippers for dessert. It was always a special time when I had lunch at Nordies with my mom or dad (or both!) and I wanted a special time like that with my littles. It is not disappoint! We had such a good lunch and oh how I love these cute kiddos! Jack used some of his birthday money to buy a LEGO at the LEGO Store and that made him super happy. We were home in time for dance and even stopped by the library! While the girls were at dance, Jack and I bought more chick food, too!
Thursday was a glorious day. We went to 3 Arch Bay and met up with Josh and Lisa who were in town from Utah. It was so fun catching up with Josh and the weather could not have been more perfect. A beach day was JUST what we all needed. A baby elephant seal was on the beach so the Marine Hospital people came and took her away to take care of her. Rayleigh was into it and wanted to help, too. It was hard to get up and leave and took us 2 full hours to get home because the traffic was horrible which just reinforced my desire to actually LIVE at 3 Arch. Jack was late to soccer, but we made it! The kids are literal angels in the car. They make traveling so easy and fun!
Friday, we spent the day at SeaWorld and Parker came too! Some people were more into SeaWorld than others (Rayleigh). But Jack ran into a friend from school, so that was cool! We sat front row center for the dolphin show and got soaked by a beluga whale. Jack was NOT a fan but what a memory! It was fun! Rayleigh chatted with the dolphin trainers and I have another aspiring dolphin trainer on my hands. So cute.
The weather has been beautiful and we even got a little sunburned! Summer is not too far away! On the way home from SeaWorld, we stopped by the temple and saw a bride and groom who'd just gotten married. Rayleigh told them congratulations and we took some pretty pics. Jack was feeling the spirit (my most tender hearted) and it was a good end to our day. We got In n Out for dinner and watched the sun set as we drove up the 5. Life is good.
I love these little adventure buddies, my little best friends. I treasure these times and thank Heavenly Father every day for blessing me with these amazing children!
