Dentist, Rain, and Service

It's that time of year! Dentist time! I really don't enjoy taking them to the dentist and it really stresses me out but this time they were all pretty good. Rayleigh finally let the dentist look at her teeth, no one had cavities, and we were in and out in an hour. It was crazy running between the 3 rooms and chasing Ella so I was glad when it was over. It was a fun, chilly, rainy day!
That night, I was able to go down to Josi's new apartment for "Sister's Craft Night!" She organized the whole thing and we all made sugar scrub to give to friends. We had popcorn and hot chocolate and laughed and told stories. I love spending time with my sisters!
You know you are a die hard Disney lover when you charge it in the rain! I love rainy days at Disney because there are NO lines! We rode on Peter Pan, Small World, and Space Mountain before calling it quits. What a fun, wet, memory! People were so kind and we even scored free umbrellas! (Which we desperately needed- we should have worn snow clothes to stay warm and dry)
That night, I had a wonderful relief society night where we ate a yummy dinner and talked about our own Christmas traditions. I loved every single second of it and everyone thought I was hilarious for taking my kids to Disneyland in the rain. ha ha
Rayleigh and Jack love their Christmas Jammies and have been wearing their Santa hats non stop- even to bed! I took these cute little helpers with me to the nursery to clear out some toys. Next year we start 2 hour church which cuts the play time wayyyy down and we just did NOT need the millions of toys that were in there. We worked hard and got it all done pretty quickly and grabbed some Wendy's for dinner to reward ourselves. It feels good to do service together! And I'm glad the toys could be donated to kids in need right before Christmas.
I'm trying hard to Light the World this Christmas season! I have to be creative with the ages of my kids and our time and money. But it's been so great focusing on the true reason for the season.
