Bunco and Santa at Disneyland

Kim wanted landscape oriented pictures of each of the kids for a special frame that she has. I had to bribe them one day after church but (Tanner was at work) But I think they turned out pretty cute! They are such beautiful children, if I DO say so myself!
We also headed to Disneyland to see Santa! I was a little worried that they wouldn't be found on the nice list- but they made it!!!! Santa was so great and asked each kid what they wanted from him for Christmas. Parker wants Vultron LEGOS and Rayleigh and Jack want light up scooters. Ella loved seeing Santa too! We rode on Dumbo together which was fun and took the train around the park.
Tuesday was a day I've been waiting for and preparing for all year! It was finally MY turn to host Bunco! I spent the day cleaning and getting ready- I also had to get the kids to bed before anyone showed up because once again, Tanner was working late. I made a charcuterie board and yummy water, I used all my real plates and glasses (because we are ladies of refinement), and had flowers and snacks and sweets, music and candles and warm lighting. It was sooo fun! We sat around chatting for the longest time before we played and then ended early so we could do a craft! Instead of getting 4 "winners" a prize, I did something for everyone! I spray painted a bunch of tin cans, gathered 3 different types of succulents from my Mom's garden, and created a little craft for everyone to bring home. Even though all the materials were basic and the same, each girl created her own unique masterpiece. To end the night, we all sat in the hot tub to relax and chat some more. The last I am so thankful for these women who are a part of my village. They each teach me, teach my children, serve my family, uplift me and inspire me. We can talk about anything, no one every complains or talks negatively. We support each other whether our opinions differ or not and we all have steadfast faith in the gospel. They truly bring so much joy to my life and I was happy to organize an evening to celebrate THEM!
Life is pretty dang good.
Also, Tanner came home in the middle of Bunco and was so cute. He's just the best!
