Zion

Who knew visiting a National Park would be like going to Disneyland. Expensive to park, long lines, crowded, busy shuttle... it was not quite how we remembered it. But we were so happy to be there and well prepared with snacks and stuff. We got there a little late and found a great parking spot but were shocked to see a 30 minute long line to board the shuttle to get into the park and start to hike. The shuttle ride was 40 minutes to get to the tail we wanted to visit. The trails were super crowded which made it hard for us to go at our own pace and keep the peace. But it was gorgeous and the kids loved throwing rocks in the river. When we got home, we ate a yummy dinner, went swimming, and enjoyed big bowls of ice cream. Zion is gorgeous but I think, like Disneyland, it's smart to get there right when the park opens.

Rayleigh was completely in her element. No complaints from this girl!

I found these cute scavenger hunt bags at Target and Parker helped Rayleigh and Jack find some of the things listed so they could "earn" their bowl of ice cream!

The kids made friends with this little boy, Carson. He was a cutie pie
