Zoomars and Cousin Party at the Park for Jack

These cute kids were ready for some Zoomars on Friday! We packed a yummy lunch and headed down with plenty of time to stay and play! We spent hours making friends, playing in corn, holding guinea pigs, petting baby lambs, and enjoying all that Zoomars has to offer!

When we were done, we headed over to my mom's park for a little "cousin" party to celebrate Jack's 4th birthday! My parents brought pizza and jack opened presents. Cami gave him a "Dusty" airplane and he was beyond thrilled! You can't buy them anymore (she found her when she was cleaning out toys) and the ones you do find are $50 collectables! Parker baked cup cakes and Jack loved having everyone sing to him. He felt so special! Jon was late but he brought his bunnies which Parker and Rayleigh LOVED! BUT, there was a horrible incident. 

Rayleigh was being too rough with the bunny (he ended up dying that night) and was not listening to Jon. I was across the park with Josi pushing Ella on the swing when I heard Rayleigh scream and then come running and cry on my lap for about 10 minutes. I had no idea what happened but I suspected she got in trouble with Jon and he handled it poorly. I was devastated at the whole ordeal and it really affected me. I was angry with Jon, angry that I wasn't there to protect her, and angry that she had bad behavior. I stewed for several days trying to decide how to handle it. I prayed and talked to my family and friends. Angel put my name in the temple. It was the last thing I thought about each night and the first thing I thought about every morning. When I finally spoke to Jon he was very defensive and got extremely upset with me. He yelled and cussed and hung up on me even thought I never once yelled or called names. It was very confusing. I was crushed. Don't worry, this story has a happy ending. But I had to share because it happened and we got through it.

Ella thought it was so funny to sit in the back like a big girl!
