Big Elk Day 2

Day 2 was spent mostly on the water. Kaitlin taught at HIGH fitness class before breakfast but I missed it. We rented some stand up paddleboards and kayaks and Ella loved going out with me on the water. I'd sing her songs and tell her little made up "Peppa Pig" stories (Peppa Pig's Birthday, Peppa Pig Goes to the Beach...) She loved it and it was a sweet time together. Parker went out on the boat a ton with his big cousins and Rayleigh attempted the big cliff jump with her aunties and uncles but didn't end up jumping. Maybe next year! We had a hilarious "Talent Show" after dinner where Parker completed a LEGO build in less than 1 minute 30 seconds and Rayleigh did some modern dance. The highlight of the night was Aunt Cindy's baton twirling to "These Boots Were Made for Walking". Parker stayed up late playing games with the big kids.

Nothing beats time in the sunshine, on the water, eating snacks and yummy food, and connecting with good people. This trip was JUST what we needed.
