Road Trip to UTAHIDAHO

After a "quick" detour to Tanner's work so he could pick up his sunglasses, we drove through In n Out and officially hit the road. We stopped in Vegas to see Spencer and Mona Kay and I can't tell you how much good that did my heart. I love that family so much. It was so great being in their home and talking with them. Spenc and Mona Kay totally set the bar on marriage and family. They are incredible and we are so lucky to have known them for so long and be such good friends.
We picked up some Rumbi in St. George for dinner and spent the night at a Marriott. Tanner took the kids swimming and we all slept pretty well. So well, in fact, that we missed breakfast the next morning and since it was Sunday and everything was closed, we had to eat at McDonalds. We stopped at The Creamery which is right outside of Fillmore on our way up to Provo. We'd never been there before and it was awesome! We stocked up on squeaky cheese and each got a yummy cup of ice cream.
We pulled into Orem and I was able to see Carole and chat with her for a little while and get the Cottage key. We stopped at Costco for groceries and headed up the mountain. Sundance was exquisite and we couldn't wait to be out of the car and enjoy the mountain air!
