Sweet Times and Stewart Falls

Waking up in Sundance is always dreamy. The kids woke up and immediately ran outside to play. We all had a leisurely morning lounging around, eating breakfast, and enjoying the beautiful mountain air.  We took another little walk, did some watercoloring which was so soothing, and Ella took a full blown nap on me while the kids quietly played upstairs in the playroom. I think that nap was one of the highlights of the trip for me! We made a yummy dinner and then set out on our hike to Stewart Falls with ice cream bars in our hands. We waited until evening time so it would be cooler out and to hopefully avoid the equestrian Natzis but NO, they started a trail ride right behind us and we had to literally run most of the hike (Which is Rayleigh's preferred speed) so that the horses didn't over take us! It was like being in an action/horror movie and we were all glad when we finally made it to the falls. The hike back to the Cottage was a little less stressful. ha We were filthy when we arrived home so we took baths and then settled down together to watch the Bucketlist Family. We all slept great that night!
