Blackfoot BBQ
We drove through Culvers on our way up to Idaho and you've never seen a child so happy for a cup full of broccoli! Ella is the cutest.
We were 1 mile outside of Blackfoot when we ran into the ONLY traffic we'd faced the entire road trip. We had to let Monte have it with that news!
Tanner had some business to take care of when we arrived so the kids ate some cereal and ran around while we waited for him and then we headed over to Travis and Nicole's for a backyard BBQ! Their house wins for best Idaho backyard. Wide open spaces to run and play, a little pool that the kids turned into a slip n slide in the fading evening light, a play set, a trampoline, and a giant garden with a barn to match!
It was a fun evening getting caught up, eating, and letting the kids run wild! Nicole is my kinda girl and I have so much respect and admiration for her. Jack and Grant were inseparable and Parker hung out with the big girls in the basement doing teenager stuff. It was a fantastic day and makes the big long trek up to Idaho totally worth it!
Parker is as tall (or maybe taller?) than Nicole!
Hooligans!
I loved capturing these cute pictures of Jack with his grandparents. One on one time with them is a rarity! Rayleigh was able to run to the store with Grandpa and I just love that they had that time together!
