Cruise Day 4: Getting the Hang of It

We slept better and woke up feeling good but it’s still pretty chilly outside. We ate breakfast in shifts- the boys went early, the girls went late. We walked around and looked for ducks and then we decided to take the kids to Ocean Adventure to see if they liked it and THEY DID! They were bummed when it closed at noon. But we made a game plan: while Tanner and I enjoyed our 75 minute massages, the kids could go swimming and ride the water slides. Then, at 2:00 when Ocean Adventure opened, they could all go down there to play again and we’d meet them there at 3:00.

When we arrived right at 3:00 they did NOT want to leave. They were having a blast. So we hung around and went to the Glow in the Dark Puppet Show and walked around the ship until 5:00. We cleaned up a bit and got dressed in our nicer clothes to have a fancy sit down dinner. It was good and we all enjoyed it.
That night we saw the ice skating show, SOL, and it was fantastic! Wow! We all really loved it and it was very impressive!
After that, we had our own private karaoke room which felt so VIP. We sang our hearts out for a full hour and I had the best time by far! The kids were tired and they kept bickering but I just kept on singing! It was fun! Jack was tired so he bailed but the girls hung out with us for a bit. Ray participated in the Lip Sync Battle! She’s so brave! The show was pretty entertaining and it’s fun to watch people really let their hair down. Good vibes all around.
We walked into a silent disco party and had fun dancing around with that until finally calling it a night. The fun doesn’t stop on a cruise ship! Let me tell ya!
