June 26th: 3 Arch Bay

Today was a perfect day. Epic maybe even. Well, maybe not the most epic due to the squirrel issue. Every time we sat down to eat the squirrels would attack us! And when we were gone they would literally hash through our bags to get to our food! They even UNZIPPED Jon's bag! So random...

Anyhoo, 3 Arch Bay does not even come close to comparing to the most beautiful beaches on Earth. It takes the cake. It is breathtaking and magical. We all love it there and I'm so glad we were able to spend the day there basking in the sunshine and ocean spray. It was Kari and her kids, Cami and her crew, and Jon and the girls. The kids played so well- what a blessing it is for them to have each other. Parker does so many things that impress me while he's with his cousins. He sweet and tender with the babies, he's brave and adventurous with tavian, and he and Kim have a special bond that melts my heart. He LOVES his cousins and I LOVE being their auntie!!!

We explored the tide pools, dug a nice hole, played jump the wave, went on a beautiful walk, ate snacks, were abused by squirrels, and watched Kari catch a wave!! I wish we could have stayed until sunset but all good things must come to an end. We softened the blow with an ice cream cone on the way home. :-)

We can't stop thinking about tanner and our trip coming up to finally drive out to Pennsylvania and see him!!! Can't wait! Love you!!! Xoxoxo
