June 5th: Cousins

Today we stayed home and babysat for Cami. We missed going to Disneyland with Jon and the girls (today was the last day for them to use their passes-blocked for the summer) but we had a great time with cami's 3 younger kids. She went with Max on his "end of the school year" field trip to the long beach aquarium!

The kids were perfect all day! I have not one single complaint. They played so well and were so sweet with one another. Cami is truly and an amazing mother and she is raising some very compassionate, tender children. They have huge imaginations to match their angelic smiles. It was so fun watching them play.

Mom had to leave for a couple hours to go to work so dad and I hung out with the kids. I made them all parkers favorite thing for lunch: cheese airplane quesadillas! They watched tangled, dressed up, and had a dance off. Life doesn't get any better! ;-)

After they left, the house was really quiet. Ha ha mom and dad left to vote and Parker was in the zone after non stop playing so I seized the moment and got some cleaning up done.

For me, it was a "stay in your PJs all day" kind of day followed by a nice, long, hot bath.

Best part of today: talking to tanner. I swear I was 2 feet off the ground when I got off the phone with him. Ask mom and dad, they saw. Could not wipe the smile off my face. Love that guy!

Tomorrow is another disney day! Can't wait!
